FLOOD SITUATION IN LOLONYA COMMUNITY
Team Ada West today, the 1st of July 2026 continuous its fact finding mission relative to last Monday downpour that left most communities in the Ada West District flooded.

The visitation today took the team to the Lolonya Community where an excavator was deployed to dredge a channel to allow the lagoon to flow into the sea so flood waters in the community feeding into the lagoon can subside.
It is expected that the dredging would yield a desirable dividend to give some relief to the Lolonya community and Kportsutsekope, an adjoining community.

The team which was led by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Modjifa Tanihu J.J.F Mills-Nkrumah also included the District Information Officer, the District Environmental Health Officer, the District NADMO officer, MIS officer, the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Rockson Ajuakese and some others.
